Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference with ministers, collectors, and senior officials to discuss the flood situation. He also indicated that some additional floodwater could enter due to rains in Telangana and instructed the officials to be prepared accordingly. He urged officials to stay alert and take precautionary measures.

Light to moderate rainfall is expected in Rayalaseema on Sunday and Monday. Today, heavy rainfall is expected in parts of Eluru, Alluri Sitaramaraju, East Godavari, West Godavari, and NTR districts. On Sunday, very heavy rainfall is predicted in Eluru, Alluri Sitaramaraju, East Godavari, West Godavari, and NTR districts. The forecast also includes heavy to very heavy rainfall in areas like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, Kakinada, Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Parvathipuram Manyam, and Krishna districts, with heavy rains expected in Guntur, Palnadu, and Bapatla districts.
