Hyderabad: Devansh, the nine-year-old grandson of Chief Minister Chandrababu and son of Minister Nara Lokesh, has achieved a remarkable milestone in chess by setting a world record. He secured the title of “Fastest Checkmate Solver – 175 Puzzles” and received official recognition from the World Book of Records, London.
The Nara family expressed immense pride in Devansh’s accomplishment. Minister Nara Lokesh commended his son’s dedication, stating, “Devansh embraced chess passionately, drawing inspiration from Indian players excelling on the global stage. He trained intensively for 5-6 hours daily over the past few weeks. Special thanks to Rai Chess Academy for their support and guidance.”

Nara Brahmani also shared her joy on social media, celebrating her son’s achievement.
Devansh’s coach, Rajashekar Reddy, highlighted the young prodigy’s mental agility and creativity, noting his ability to solve 175 complex puzzles. “This achievement is a significant milestone in his chess journey,” he remarked.
The record-setting feat has garnered widespread appreciation, marking Devansh as a promising talent in the chess world.
