Tirumala: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review meeting regarding the quality of the famous Tirumala laddu, emphasizing the need to uphold the sanctity and trust associated with the sacred offerings. He directed officials to ensure that the quality of offerings, including the laddu and annaprasadam, continues to meet the expectations of devotees.
“The quality of prasadam has reportedly improved, and it is crucial that this standard is maintained. All ingredients used in the preparation must be of the highest quality, and no compromises should be made in this regard,” CM Chandrababu stated.
He also stressed the importance of reducing the VIP culture at Tirumala, insisting that visits from prominent individuals should be managed in a simple and spiritual manner, avoiding unnecessary commotion.
“Only the chanting of the Lord’s name should be heard on the hills, with no distractions. We must ensure that the tranquility of the devotees is preserved at all times, and there should be no instances of rude behavior,” he added.
Furthermore, CM Naidu instructed officials to avoid extravagance and unnecessary expenditures, emphasizing that the focus should solely be on spirituality during discussions related to Tirumala.
