The Defence Ministry confirmed that all acquisitions will be sourced domestically, in line with the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative. The DAC’s clearance covers critical military hardware and systems designed to upgrade India’s combat readiness and technological edge in modern warfare.
Officials noted that the newly approved systems will begin induction into the Indian armed forces in the near future, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and national security preparedness.
