Police have registered cases against individuals involved in morphing and sharing photos of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media. The incident occurred after Pawan Kalyan, along with his family, visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj and performed a holy dip. Allegedly, some individuals edited his photos and shared them online, leading to controversy over body-shaming content.

Following complaints from Janasena party workers, cases were registered at police stations in Chittoor, Tirupati, Nellore, Bapatla, and Vijayawada. In Tirupati West PS limits, a case was filed against a post shared under the name “Jagananna Sainyam,” while in Chittoor, an individual identified as Harish Reddy was booked for sharing an objectionable post. Cybercrime police registered cases under BNS Sections 353(2) and 356(2), with crime numbers 11, 12, 13, and 14.
