Hyderabad: A case has been registered against BRS Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) at the Banjara Hills Police Station. The police have filed the case alleging that KTR used abusive language against officials, caused a public nuisance, and created traffic disruptions after leaving the ACB office on Friday.

According to the police, KTR and his supporters conducted a rally from the ACB office to Telangana Bhavan without prior permission. The unauthorized procession has been cited as another reason for the case. In addition to KTR, cases have been registered against six others, including Balka Suman, Manne Govardhan, Jayasimha, Krishank, and Gellu Srinivas Yadav.

ACB Inquiry Over Formula E Case

The ACB officials had questioned KTR in connection with the alleged irregularities surrounding the Formula E race event in Hyderabad. Following the inquiry, KTR addressed the media outside the ACB office.

However, police officers instructed him to leave the premises, citing traffic congestion concerns. The interaction led to a brief argument between KTR and the police before he eventually departed. The police have now formally registered a case regarding the incident.

KTR Responds to ACB Inquiry
Speaking to the media after the inquiry, KTR stated that he has been fully cooperating with the investigation and is willing to attend further inquiries if required. He claimed that the ACB officials posed repetitive questions based on a list reportedly prepared by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

“I answered all the questions they asked. It was evident that they were simply twisting the same four or five questions repeatedly,” KTR alleged, describing the case as baseless.
