In a significant move, Cyberabad police have registered a case against popular YouTuber Harsha Sai for allegedly promoting betting apps. The case was confirmed after RTC MD Sajjanar shared a copy of the FIR on the social media platform X.

This action follows the arrest of local influencer “Local Boy” Nani and the registration of a case against Bhayya Sunny Yadav, based on a complaint filed by Sajjanar. The RTC MD clarified that his intention is not to target individuals but to take strict action against those involved in promoting illegal betting platforms.

Sajjanar Urges Public to Unfollow Harsha Sai

In a stern message, Sajjanar called on the public to immediately unfollow influencers like Harsha Sai who promote betting apps. He criticized Harsha Sai for portraying himself as a social worker while engaging in illegal promotions.

“What he is doing is wrong, yet he claims that if he doesn’t promote betting apps, someone else will. Innocent lives are being ruined due to online betting, but he shows no remorse. For such influencers, money is everything, while society and relationships hold no value. Reports suggest he was offered between ₹100 crore to ₹500 crore for these promotions. Think about where this money is coming from,” Sajjanar stated in his tweet.

He further urged followers to report the accounts of such influencers and contribute to eliminating the online betting menace.
