Budgam, J&K: In a tragic accident, a Border Security Force (BSF) bus plunged into a gorge in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the death of three jawans and leaving 30 others injured. According to officials, six of the injured are in critical condition.

The accident occurred when a convoy of seven BSF buses was traveling through the area as part of routine security operations. Near Bral village, one of the buses lost control and veered off the road, falling into a deep gorge. Local authorities and rescue teams, including armed forces personnel, swiftly responded to the scene and evacuated the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The incident coincides with the ongoing three-phase assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The first phase was completed on September 18, with the second phase scheduled for September 25.
