A massive explosion occurred at the RTC Complex in Parvatipuram, Andhra Pradesh, while ANL parcels were being loaded and unloaded from an RTC bus. The blast left four people seriously injured, while two others sustained minor injuries. The force of the explosion also caused significant damage to the parcel counter shed and nearby glass structures.
The injured were immediately taken to a local hospital, with two of them later transferred to a facility in Visakhapatnam for advanced treatment. Initial reports suggest that the parcel, sent from Vizianagaram under the label “Fans Item,” may have been the source of the explosion.
RTC officials and local residents alerted the police, who promptly reached the scene, secured the area, and gathered information from witnesses. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blast and examining the parcel to determine whether it contained any explosive material, with further details awaited as the inquiry continues.
