New Delhi: In the wake of Operation Sindoor, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a nationwide campaign titled Tiranga Yatra, set to be held from May 13 to May 23. The campaign aims to showcase India’s military response to terrorism and highlight Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in national security matters.
Senior party leaders, including Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, along with BJP national president J.P. Nadda, met on Sunday to finalize the strategy. A follow-up meeting was held on Monday with leaders such as Tarun Chugh and Vinod Tawde to plan state-level executions.

According to party sources, the 11-day campaign will feature large-scale public outreach events, including rallies and patriotic processions, involving Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and grassroots workers. Influential figures from civil society are also expected to participate.
The announcement comes a day after Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation for the first time since Operation Sindoor. In his speech, he condemned Pakistan’s continued support for terrorism and warned that India would respond with equal force to any future attacks. “Terrorism and dialogue cannot go hand in hand,” the Prime Minister stated, emphasizing that Pakistan must dismantle terror infrastructure or face the consequences.
