Authorities Refute Health Concerns, Call Posani Krishna Murali’s Illness a Drama

Officials have dismissed reports of actor and politician Posani Krishna Murali’s health issues, stating that he has no medical complications. Railway Koduru CI Venkateswarlu alleged that Posani had been pretending to be unwell since morning, calling it a staged act.

Authorities confirmed that all requested medical tests were conducted at both Rajampet Government Hospital and Kadapa RIMS. The test results showed no health concerns, and officials announced that Posani would be transferred back to Rajampet Sub-Jail from RIMS.

Reports of Illness and Medical Evaluation
Earlier, reports suggested that Posani had fallen seriously ill while in Rajampet Sub-Jail. Jail officials subsequently transferred him to Rajampet Government Hospital, where doctors examined him before referring him to Kadapa RIMS for further evaluation. He had reportedly been experiencing chest pain for some time.

On February 26, the court remanded Posani to judicial custody for 14 days, extending his detention until March 12. Following the court’s directive, he was shifted to Rajampet Sub-Jail.

Case Background
Janasena leader Jogineni Mani filed a police complaint against Posani Krishna Murali on February 24, 2025. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under Sections 196, 353(2), and 111 read with 3(5). Posani was arrested at his Hyderabad residence on February 26 and later transferred to Obulavaripalle Police Station.
