Patna: Jan Sooraj Party chief Prashant Kishore has been served a major blow as Ashok Chaudhary filed a criminal defamation suit against him, challenging Kishore’s recent bribery allegations. Kishore had accused Chaudhary of accepting a bribe to secure a Lok Sabha ticket for his daughter, Sambhavi Chaudhary.
On Tuesday, Ashok Chaudhary demanded that Kishore provide evidence supporting his claims or retract the statements and issue a public apology. Chaudhary also stated that he had previously sent a legal notice to Kishore, whose response was unsatisfactory. He has now initiated a defamation case in a Patna court.
