Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released a recruitment notification for a total of 691 vacancies in the state Forest Department, offering a major opportunity for unemployed youth in the state. The vacancies include 256 posts for Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and 435 posts for Assistant Beat Officer (ABO).
Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification to be eligible. The age limit is set between 18 and 30 years, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms. The selection process will comprise a Screening Test, Mains Examination, Physical Measurement Test, and Walking Test. The salary for FBO posts ranges from Rs 25,220 to ₹80,910, while ABO posts carry a pay scale of Rs 20,000 to Rs 70,000.
