Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan raised concerns on Wednesday regarding the whereabouts of Rs. 1,066 crores released by the Central Government over the past five years. He conducted a review meeting on the Swachh Andhra Corporation, attended by high-ranking officials and engineers, where the corporation’s performance was discussed through a PowerPoint presentation.
During the meeting, Pawan Kalyan sought detailed information about the funds received from the central government and their expenditure. He noted that over Rs. 1,000 crores had been allocated by the central government in the past five years and questioned the officials about the utilization of these funds.
In response, the officials informed Pawan Kalyan that the finance department of the previous government had not released the central funds to the Swachh Andhra Corporation, thereby clarifying the discrepancy.
