AP CM Chandrababu Announces Key Initiatives and Reforms

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the promises made during the assembly elections. As part of this, the Chief Minister announced that the DSC (Teacher Recruitment) Notification would be issued by the next academic year to fill vacant teacher positions. He directed officials to expedite recruitment planning to ensure timely implementation.

During a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, the Chief Minister also discussed the implementation of the “Talli Ki Vandanam” scheme, which will be rolled out at the start of the 2025-26 academic year. The Cabinet approved plans to complete the DSC recruitment process before schools reopen. Additionally, measures will be taken to curb fraudulent registrations within the state, and the performance of ministers will be closely monitored to ensure improved efficiency.

In regard to employment, CM Naidu emphasized the need to focus on fulfilling the promise of providing 7.5 lakh jobs in the electricity reforms sector. He also stressed the importance of effective performance from ministers and warned that no leniency would be shown after the first six months in office.

Further, the state government intends to appoint outsourced personnel for various departments through APKOS rather than relying on existing outsourcing mechanisms. The focus will be placed on the “Anna Datha Sukhibhava” and “Matsyakara Bharosa” welfare programs, particularly on distributing Rs. 6,000 from the central government and Rs. 14,000 from the state government to eligible beneficiaries. The government plans to offer financial assistance in three phases.

AP Cabinet Approves Nutritional Mid-Day Meals with Fine Rice

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved a decision to provide fine rice with mid-day meals for school children. This decision was made during a Cabinet meeting led by Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. The Cabinet decided to implement the program with quality, nutritious fine rice to ensure better quality meals for children.

An interesting discussion was held regarding the implementation of the “Dokka Seethamma” mid-day meal scheme, with suggestions for region-specific menu changes to cater to children’s tastes. Minister Nara Lokesh emphasized the need for the Public Distribution System (PDS) Minister Nadendla Manohar’s cooperation to ensure the availability of fine rice for the scheme.

The Cabinet approved the proposal and gave the green light for the implementation of the enhanced mid-day meal plan with improved nutritional value. The Public Distribution System will provide the required fine rice to implement the scheme effectively.
