Andhra Pradesh Government Transfers 27 IPS Officers

In a significant reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 27 IPS officers. On January 20 (Monday), Chief Secretary Vijay Anand issued the transfer orders, which include several key appointments.

Rajeev Kumar Meena has been appointed as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment Board, while N. Madhusudhan Reddy takes over as the Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order). C.H. Srikanth has been transferred as the IGP (Operations) and assigned additional duties as the IGP for Technical Services.

G. Palraju has been appointed as the Director of the Andhra Pradesh Forensic Lab, and B. Rajakumari has been given the responsibility of IGP for the APSP Battalion. In a significant change, Harshavardhan Raju will replace Subbarayudu as the SP of Tirupati, while Subbarayudu will now focus on efforts to curb red sandalwood smuggling in the Tirupati region.
