The misuse of fake thumbnails for gaining views has been on the rise, with some resorting to unethical tactics. In a recent instance, anchor Bhargavi and her family have been subjected to mental distress after a YouTube channel falsely claimed, through its thumbnail, that her husband had passed away.

Expressing her outrage, Bhargavi clarified that in a past interview, she had shared an emotional incident, mentioning that her husband is an army jawan. However, a YouTube channel distorted this information and misled viewers with a false thumbnail. She strongly criticized such irresponsible actions and demanded that the channel issue a public apology.
Bhargavi also shared a video addressing the issue on her Instagram, urging content creators to act responsibly and refrain from spreading misinformation.
