Hyderabad: Traffic officials in Hyderabad have issued a crucial advisory for motorists, announcing traffic restrictions in several parts of the city. As part of the GHMC’s Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), the busy Gachibowli flyover will be closed for a week starting Tuesday, October 24.
According to Cyberabad Traffic Joint Commissioner of Police Joel Davis, the flyover will remain closed from 11 PM to 6 AM until October 28. The closure is due to the ongoing construction work in the Shilpa Layout Phase-2 area.
Motorists using the Gachibowli flyover are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure period. Traffic from Biodiversity Junction to IIIT Junction will be diverted via Bichireddy Sweets to Gachibowli Junction, while those traveling from IIIT Junction to Biodiversity Junction will be rerouted through Gachibowli Junction.
Authorities have urged commuters to follow the traffic diversions and ensure a smooth and safe commute during the restricted hours. Traffic will operate as usual during daytime hours.
