Asaduddin Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad and leader of AIMIM, faced another attack on his residence in Delhi by unidentified individuals around 5:30 pm on Thursday. Owaisi, currently on a visit to Rajasthan for election campaigning, reported that miscreants hurled stones at his house, breaking windows and causing damage. This marks the fourth such attack on his Delhi residence, with previous incidents occurring since 2014.
Owaisi promptly approached the police and lodged a complaint, urging swift action against the perpetrators. In response, a police team led by Additional DCP Delhi conducted an investigation and apprehended four suspects based on CCTV footage.
Expressing his dismay over the repeated attacks, Owaisi emphasized the need for ensuring the safety of his residence and family. He demanded stringent measures to prevent such incidents in the future and called for the immediate arrest of those responsible.
The incident comes amid ongoing assembly elections in Rajasthan, where Owaisi is actively participating in campaign activities.
