In a significant development in the Agri Gold land case, Vijayawada’s ACB Court has granted bail to Jogi Rajeev, son of former minister Jogi Ramesh. Following the conditional bail, Jogi Rajeev has been released from Vijayawada District Jail.
The court has directed Jogi Rajeev to submit his passport to the ACB station and has set his bail on a surety bond of ₹25,000. He is required to sign at the local ACB station every second Saturday of the month. Additionally, he has been warned against discussing the case with the media.
Jogi Rajeev was arrested by ACB officials on August 13 in connection with the Agri Gold land purchase case, where he is listed as accused No. 2 (A2). ACB officials have identified that Jogi Rajeev purchased Agri Gold lands in Ambapuram, which were seized by the CID, and sold them to others.
