“I have dedicated 50 years of my life to acting, but for the past three years, my situation has drastically worsened. Despite sharing my struggles in interviews, there has been no response. I’ve somehow managed to survive, but now I’m barely holding on. I’ve worked with stars like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and NTR. Yet, I’m now at a point where I’m considering suicide due to my inability to afford treatment. Will you leave me like this? Please, help me,” she tearfully appealed.

In response to her distress, Akash Jagannath, son of renowned director Puri Jagannadh, immediately took action. He visited Shyamala at the Usha Senior Citizens Welfare Development Society to understand her situation. After assessing her needs, Akash provided financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh and assured her, “I’m here to support you through any difficulty.” A video of the interaction has since gone viral on social media, with many netizens praising Akash’s compassionate gesture.
