New Delhi: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Meenakshi Natarajan as the new in-charge for Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, replacing Deepa Das Munshi. The announcement was made by Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, who also revealed new in-charge appointments for various states, including Manipur, Bihar, Odisha, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab.

Meenakshi Natarajan, born in Birlagram Nagda, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, holds a post-graduate degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She served as a Member of Parliament from Mandsaur between 2009 and 2014. Prior to this, Natarajan was the National President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) from 1999 to 2002, and the President of Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress from 2002 to 2005. She was appointed as an AICC Secretary by Rahul Gandhi in 2008.
With the new appointments, Congress aims to strengthen its leadership structure and streamline party activities across the nation.
