Tiruvuru MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao, while addressing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Disciplinary Committee, denied any involvement in an assault incident. Speaking to RTV, he explained that the committee had summoned him to discuss an altercation that occurred in the Gopalpuram village of Tiruvuru.
During the inquiry, Srinivasa Rao provided detailed information about the incident and clarified that the family alleging the assault had previously been involved in incidents targeting other political figures. He mentioned that they had thrown a water bottle at TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu during his padyatra. The MLA emphasized that these details were shared with the committee.
Srinivasa Rao further stated that there is no opposition to him in his constituency and questioned why anyone would have a motive to target him.
