Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments stating that his party is fighting against the nation have stirred controversy, leading to the filing of an FIR at the Guwahati police station in Assam. The complaint, lodged by Monjit Chatia, accuses Rahul of crossing the boundaries of free speech and making statements that could potentially threaten national security.

The complaint highlights that Rahul’s remarks could incite unrest and fuel separatist sentiments, endangering the nation’s unity. It further claims that, as an opposition leader, Rahul has a responsibility to uphold democratic values but is instead spreading falsehoods that undermine national integrity.
These statements were made during Rahul Gandhi’s speech at the inauguration of the new Prime Minister’s office in Delhi, where he declared that the BJP and RSS had captured every institution in the country. He added that Congress was now fighting not only against the BJP and RSS but also against India itself.
