The highly anticipated romantic drama Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is set for a grand global release on February 7. Directed by Chandu Mondeti, the film has been primarily shot in the picturesque locales of Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam.

While filming, Naga Chaitanya made a heartfelt promise to the locals: he would personally cook and serve them fish curry before the shoot concluded. As production nears its end, Chaitanya honored his commitment by preparing a flavorful fish curry on a traditional wood stove. The film’s team shared the heartwarming moment on social media, capturing the actor’s gesture.

A local featured in the video reminisces, “We had met Naga Chaitanya earlier, and he promised to cook fish curry himself before the shoot wrapped up. We came to see if he would keep his word, and he did—cooking a delicious fish curry just like he said.”
The locals praised the dish, calling it “superb.” Chaitanya’s cooking video quickly went viral, with the actor humorously adding, “After catching fish, the real challenge is to make a great curry.”
