Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister Ram Prasad Reddy made a key announcement regarding the implementation of the Free Bus Scheme for women, confirming that it will be launched within the next two months. The minister made the statement during his visit to Nayudupeta in Tirupati district, where he participated in several development initiatives.
Minister Reddy outlined the government’s plans to focus on the development of Sri City in Tirupati, which aims to generate significant employment opportunities for the region’s youth. Reflecting on the achievements of the state government over the past eight months, he emphasized various developmental strides made in the region.

Additionally, the minister confirmed that the government would provide three free gas cylinders to women and pensions to approximately 64 lakh beneficiaries. He further stated that the Free Bus Scheme would be implemented as part of the government’s welfare initiatives in the coming months.

In related developments, a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled for tomorrow in Amaravati. The meeting is expected to discuss the Super Six scheme, which was a key election promise, as well as make crucial decisions regarding the Free Bus Scheme’s implementation.
