Jadcherla: The MLA of Jadcherla, Anirudh Reddy, has been targeted by Maoists, with a letter allegedly posted in his native village accusing him of forcibly acquiring land from the poor. The Maoists claim that Reddy and his associates have been intimidating local company owners in areas like Balnagar and Rajapur, demanding money under duress.

The letter also alleges that Reddy has been coercing landowners into surrendering properties, with specific accusations of temple idols being stolen and sold. The Maoists have issued a warning, stating that any such activities in the future will not be tolerated.
This letter, signed by a group calling itself Lachannadalam, has stirred local discussions. In response, the police have launched an investigation into the matter, although no official statements have been released by the MLA or the police at this time.
