The Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) witnessed a spectacular evening on Thursday, honoring outstanding contributions to Tamil cinema. Renowned actors, directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, and music composers graced the occasion, making it a memorable celebration of cinematic brilliance.
The event recognized and awarded achievements across various categories. The prestigious Best Film award was bagged by Amaran, while Sai Pallavi was named Best Actress for her remarkable performance in the same film. Vijay Sethupathi won the Best Actor award for his stellar role in Maharaja.

Sai Pallavi, while receiving her award, expressed immense joy, saying, “This year, we saw many films competing for recognition. Receiving this award amidst such competition makes it even more special.” She credited her success to her fans, her director Raj Kumar Periyasamy, and her supportive family. Vijay Sethupathi also shared his gratitude, dedicating his award to the team of Maharaja.
