Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud has reacted strongly to allegations claiming that the Congress government orchestrated the arrest of Allu Arjun. Kumar Goud highlighted the loss of a woman’s life during a stampede incident, pointing out that her son’s struggle continues amid difficult circumstances. He emphasized, “The law treats everyone equally, and no one is beyond its reach.”
Congress Affirms Its Ties with Allu Arjun
Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that Allu Arjun is a leader associated with the Congress party. He also mentioned a familial connection between Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Allu family. Kumar Goud stressed the historical bond between the Congress party and the Telugu film industry, noting the Congress government’s role in relocating film studios from Madras to Hyderabad by providing land and infrastructure support. He urged BJP leaders to speak with a proper understanding of history.

KTR’s Arrest Under Scrutiny
Addressing the issue of BRS round-table meetings, Kumar Goud demanded answers from party leaders about their purpose. He pointed out Congress’s commitment to setting up the Telangana Mother Statue, a promise made during previous leadership tenures. Kumar Goud questioned why senior leaders like KCR, Kavitha, Harish Rao, and KTR had not prioritized this commitment over the past decade.
Furthermore, Kumar Goud raised concerns about financial irregularities related to the car racing scam, suggesting that KTR may face legal action. Authorities reportedly identified discrepancies in the scam’s financial dealings, hinting at a potential arrest for KTR. These developments are heightening political speculation and uncertainty within Telangana’s political landscape.
