Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has encountered another shock with a new case registered against him. The Gachibowli police station has filed an FIR against him on charges of intimidating Banjarahills police personnel. The FIR states that he threatened to kill himself during an arrest attempt. Discussions are currently intensifying in Telangana’s political circles about the possibility of another arrest for Kaushik Reddy. It is worth noting that just two days ago, Kaushik Reddy was arrested by the Banjarahills police and later secured bail.
Phone Tapping Allegations
Kaushik Reddy alleged that his phone was tapped on Wednesday evening and caused a commotion in front of the Banjarahills police station. Despite filing a complaint, police officers reportedly refused to take any action, which led to Kaushik Reddy displaying aggressive behavior. BRS workers also staged a protest in front of the police station, causing disruptions. Subsequently, CI Raghavendra lodged a complaint against Kaushik Reddy for obstructing police duties at the station. Along with Padi Kaushik Reddy, 20 of his supporters have been charged under multiple sections of the law.

On the morning of December 5 (Thursday), police arrested MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy at his residence located in Kondapur. A large police force surrounded his residence to carry out the arrest. In a show of support, former ministers Jagadish Reddy and Harish Rao, along with a large group of BRS supporters, gathered at the location to resist the arrest attempt. Police prevented any attempts to forcibly enter Kaushik Reddy’s house, resulting in a tense atmosphere. He was eventually released on bail.
