Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy sharply responded to former CM KCR’s comments, stating that the people of Telangana are aware of what they have gained and lost in the past ten months. Revanth refuted KCR’s statement about the losses incurred, asserting that it was not the people but KCR’s household that faced job losses. He emphasized that, in the past ten months, unemployed individuals had secured jobs, farmers benefited from loan waivers, and over 1.5 million women enjoyed free RTC bus travel.
Revanth further pointed out the achievements of the public government under his leadership, stating that the RTC, which was once in losses, was now on a profitable path. He highlighted that nearly 49.9 lakh families were utilizing free electricity up to 200 units and that women could now access cooking gas cylinders at just ₹500. Under the Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme, free healthcare was being provided to those in need. He also mentioned the promotion of 21,000 teachers and the transfer of 35,000 others as successes of the public government.
Revanth criticized KCR for focusing on building his office complex and residence while neglecting educational infrastructure like residential schools. He reiterated that his government had launched the construction of Young India Residential Schools in all 100 constituencies, aiming to build a stronger Telangana society through education.
Referring to the opposition’s challenges, Revanth claimed that, despite the obstacles, his government had successfully conducted exams for 563 Group posts and would soon issue appointment letters to the successful candidates, ensuring they played a role in Telangana’s reconstruction.
Concluding his statement, Revanth urged KCR to support good governance and offer constructive criticism if there were shortcomings. He mocked the opposition leader for failing to attend the Assembly and called it a strange situation in Telangana, contrasting it with the government’s achievements.
