A delegation from the Congress Party has lodged a complaint with Additional DGP Mahesh Bhagwat, demanding the registration of an atrocity case against BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). The Congress leaders accused KTR of inciting public unrest and conspiring to disturb peace and security. They alleged that BRS members demolished a wall built around the Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund as part of beautification efforts, an act they claimed has insulted Dalits and dishonored Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.

The Congress delegation expressed that such actions deeply affect the dignity of the Dalit community and every Indian citizen. They condemned the incident and called for strict legal action to prevent future occurrences. The Congress leaders specifically demanded that atrocity charges be filed against KTR, his personal assistant Tirupati, BRS leader Krishank, and the BRS social media wing.

The complaint was led by SC Cell President Nagarigari Preetham, along with Telangana Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Iravathi Anil, Muthya Corporation Chairman Mettu Sai, and other party leaders.
