The Revanth Reddy government is poised to implement another key promise, introducing electric scooters as part of its six guarantees. This initiative aims to benefit girls above the age of 18, with the scheme’s modalities currently being finalized.
While details are still under consideration, it remains unclear if additional conditions will be imposed or if the scooters will be provided to all educated girls. The government has yet to confirm whether the scheme will benefit only one individual per household or multiple eligible members.
This move comes as part of the Revanth government’s broader agenda, which already includes initiatives such as free bus travel for women, 200 units of free electricity, farm loan waivers, and an increase in Aarogyasri health coverage to Rs 10 lakh.
