Amaravati: In a recent session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister Chandrababu launched a strong critique against YSRCP Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Addressing Jagan directly, Chandrababu questioned the use of public funds for constructing buildings in Rishikonda at a cost of Rs 500 crore, accusing him of using taxpayer money for personal luxury.

Chandrababu criticized Jagan for betraying public trust after winning 151 seats in the 2019 elections, asserting that the people had supported the NDA in a state of desperation. He compared the current administration in Andhra Pradesh to that in Telangana, noting that the latter did not experience such levels of corruption or mismanagement.

In his address, Chandrababu demanded clarity on several issues, including the identity of those allegedly killed in Vinukonda. He specifically questioned, “Who killed Babai?” and challenged Jagan to provide names of the deceased if he claimed honesty, promising to reopen cases involving killings if necessary.

Chandrababu also addressed concerns about the Madanapalle sub-collectorate office fire, questioning whether it was wrong to investigate such incidents. He defended his administration’s actions, stating that those involved in criminal activities, including the recent rape and murder case in Muchumarri, were dealt with appropriately. He criticized the opposition for spreading misinformation, emphasizing that no one involved in criminal acts was spared.

Chandrababu concluded by reiterating his commitment to treating criminals as such and underscored the importance of upholding democratic principles.
