Times Square in the United States is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and daily events. Now, Hyderabad is set to emulate this culture with plans for a new plaza near The Knowledge City in Rayadurgam. The state government, through the Telangana State Industries and Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), will oversee the construction of a large plaza akin to a “T-Square” under the Institute of Infrastructure.
TGIIC has already initiated the tender process for this ambitious project, aiming to make it accessible to middle and lower-middle-class residents. The plaza aims to enhance the local community’s quality of life by providing a lively venue for events and activities, akin to the bustling ambiance of Times Square. This initiative is expected to create a vibrant space where residents can unwind and participate in various cultural and recreational activities, enriching their daily lives.
