Kuppam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the initiation of the government’s poverty alleviation efforts from Kuppam constituency. He emphasized the goal of transforming Kuppam into a poverty-free zone, urging officials to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve this vision. Chandrababu stressed the importance of streamlined governance, calling for officials to adapt to both physical and virtual work practices and avoid large gatherings and elaborate convoys.
During a review meeting with Chittoor district and constituency officials, Chandrababu outlined his comprehensive development plan for Kuppam. He directed the officials to focus on key areas such as improving water supply, enhancing agricultural policies, and bringing food processing industries to the region. He also emphasized the need to transform Kuppam into an educational hub and implement schemes to skill the youth and create opportunities, highlighting the importance of providing subsidies to farmers.
Reflecting on the past five years, Chandrababu expressed disappointment with certain officials who he claimed supported YSRCP leaders’ disruptive activities. He underscored the need for a peaceful atmosphere in Kuppam and instructed the police to take strict action against offenders. Chandrababu urged all departments to contribute to a visible transformation in Kuppam within months, emphasizing effective planning and execution.
