Baltimore/Hyderabad: A young woman from Nalgonda district in Telangana, Manvitha Reddy, passed away in the United States after a prolonged battle with illness, in what has emerged as another tragic incident involving an Indian student abroad. She had been undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer at a hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Doctors had been administering the most advanced treatment available in an effort to save her life. However, after nearly two months of fighting the disease, her condition gradually worsened, and despite the medical team’s efforts, her health did not improve. She eventually succumbed to the illness, leaving her family in deep grief.
Throughout her treatment, family members and relatives based in the US remained by her side, extending support and assistance. Despite their efforts, they were unable to save her. News of her death has left her family in Telangana, as well as relatives in the US, in profound sorrow.
Manvitha Reddy (27) was the daughter of Kandimalla Laxma Reddy and Padma, residents of Molakapatnam village in Vemulapalli mandal, Nalgonda district. After completing her graduation in Hyderabad, she had moved to the United States three years ago to pursue higher studies and was residing near Baltimore, Maryland, along with friends.
