The renowned Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Amma’s Lashkar Bonalu jatara in Secunderabad concluded with grand celebrations. During this occasion, the “bhavishyavani” (prophecy) segment, the most crucial part of the jatara, unfolded amid intense emotion. Matangi Swarnalatha, who stood on a raw pot within the temple premises to deliver the prophecy, expressed strong anger and revealed sensational statements. She conveyed with great intensity that the goddess had expressed deep displeasure over the conduct of devotees and organizers.
Matangi Swarnalatha warned that she had not come in joy, but rather with intense wrath. She expressed fury, saying that despite promising to consecrate her idol, this had still not been carried out, and that the actions of the people were the very cause of her anger. Questioning why she should answer every request devotees make of her, she warned that no one was following even a single thing she had said, and that everyone was facing her wrath as a result. She advised that everyone must exercise great caution.
She warned that nature could turn wrathful this year, with the possibility of torrential rains and major fire accidents occurring. She cautioned that conditions could arise where people are swept away by heavy rains, but assured that she herself would personally come to the aid of her devotees, whatever calamity or danger may befall them. She expressed anguish that people in today’s society are behaving without regard for family relationships, with children abandoning even their own parents on the streets. She noted that no one was conducting themselves in a way that brought her happiness, that arrogance had grown excessively among everyone, and advised that it must be curbed immediately.
On this occasion, Matangi Swarnalatha shed tears throughout the delivery of the prophecy, deeply moving everyone present. The goddess made clear that she would be appeased and would fulfill all the wishes of her devotees if her idol consecration is completed within the next six months. She issued a stern warning that she would crush underfoot anyone who stood in the way of her wrath or her consecration.
