In the POCSO case registered against Bandi Bhagirath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, police have intensified their search operation as the accused is reportedly absconding. The investigation is currently underway at Pet Basheerabad Police Station, with officials working to trace his whereabouts.

The investigating officer Riti Raj has stated that Bandi Bhagirath is on the run and has remained untraceable for the past three days. Police confirmed that his mobile phone has been switched off during this period, making it difficult for investigators to establish contact or track his location.

Officials further informed that the victim’s statement has already been recorded as part of the investigation process under the POCSO Act. However, investigators noted that an additional statement may be required in order to clarify certain details and strengthen the ongoing probe.

Police authorities reiterated that the investigation is being conducted in a structured and lawful manner. They added that all necessary steps are being taken to collect evidence and verify claims made by both sides involved in the case.

The case has gained significant political and public attention in Telangana, with law enforcement officials maintaining that further action will be taken strictly based on evidence and due legal procedure.
