Praja Shanti Party president K.A. Paul has made sharp remarks on social media over Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s decision to launch a new political party. He alleged that the move stems from internal differences within her family, particularly with her father and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). According to Paul, Kavitha had earlier aspired for the Chief Minister’s post, which was not accepted by KCR, leading to the present political development.

Paul further claimed that the proposed party would not serve any public interest and is primarily aimed at safeguarding personal assets. He also revisited an incident from 2008, alleging that Kavitha had approached him seeking ₹10 crore for party funding, and that he had initially considered providing ₹15 crore. However, he said he refrained from extending support after being advised by KCR not to fund Kavitha.

The Praja Shanti Party chief stated that he had been unable to actively engage in Telangana politics due to his engagements in the United States. He also reiterated that he has been focusing on international issues alongside political activities abroad.

On global affairs, Paul claimed he is working towards easing tensions between the United States and Iran, warning that escalation of the conflict could have serious consequences worldwide. He said he is in discussions with former US President Donald Trump and asserted that several global leaders seek his advice. Paul also added that he has the capability to mobilize significant financial resources for the development of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and urged people from all sections to join his party.
