A shocking case of suspected gang rape and murder has emerged in Warangal district, causing widespread outrage. The victim, a 21-year-old woman from AK Thanda in Rayaparthi Mandal, was allegedly kidnapped by four men from Ravoor Thanda. Family members claim that the men assaulted her and later set her on fire, resulting in her death.
The incident reportedly occurred last night when the woman was found in critical condition, suffering severe bleeding. She was subsequently declared dead, and her body was transferred to Vardhannapeta Marchury for post-mortem examination. Relatives allege that the police failed to take immediate action despite filing a complaint.
Protesting at the Marchury on the Khammam national highway, the victim’s family demanded that the accused be arrested and punished before the post-mortem procedure. They also stated that the suspects were frequently under the influence of drugs and insisted that justice be ensured without delay.
In response to the complaint, the police have registered a case and are collecting detailed information about the incident. The situation at Vardhannapeta Marchury remains tense, with locals and family members pressing authorities for swift action against the accused.
