Bill Gates, founder of the Gates Foundation, along with his team of representatives, is set to visit Andhra Pradesh on February 16. During the visit, he will meet Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. The discussions will focus on expanding state government projects in education, healthcare, and agriculture with support from the Gates Foundation. Gates is scheduled to arrive at the state Secretariat at 10 AM.

As part of his visit, Gates will tour the RTGS center to review the use of technology in governance. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will brief him on real-time governance policies and their outcomes. Subsequently, Gates will meet with the CM, state ministers, and officials from various departments to discuss state initiatives.

The Chief Minister will present Andhra Pradesh’s Swarnandhra Vision 2047 targets, along with reforms in public health, agriculture, and education. Projects such as MedTech, diagnostic services, and the Sanjeevani scheme, run with Gates Foundation support, will also be highlighted during the presentation.

Later, Gates and his team will visit an agricultural field near Undavalli village in Amaravati. They will observe cultivation techniques implemented using drone and AI technology, aimed at modernizing agricultural practices. Commenting on the visit, CM Chandrababu Naidu recalled bringing Gates to Andhra Pradesh twice before—first for the Hi-Tech City project and then for Visakhapatnam Agritech—and said this visit will focus on the Sanjeevani scheme.
