Senior BRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao on Sunday strongly criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over his remarks against the BRS at a public meeting in Khammam. Taking to social media platform X, Harish Rao accused the Chief Minister of having a “history of betrayal” and questioned his political credibility.
In a strongly worded post, Harish Rao alleged that Revanth Reddy’s political career has been marked by repeated betrayals and falsehoods. He accused the Chief Minister of siding with united Andhra Pradesh forces and opposing the Telangana statehood movement, besides targeting activists who fought for the separate state.

Referring to the vote-for-note case, Harish Rao alleged that Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed while carrying cash allegedly on behalf of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu. He also accused Revanth Reddy of betraying the Telugu Desam Party after later joining the Congress, a party once opposed by NTR.
Harish Rao questioned Revanth Reddy’s alleged affinity towards the TDP, which he said aligns with the BJP, and claimed that the Chief Minister’s political actions were indirectly benefiting the BJP–TDP alliance. He further alleged that Revanth Reddy continues to function under the influence of Chandrababu Naidu.
Condemning Revanth Reddy’s call to dismantle BRS party structures, Harish Rao said such statements amounted to a direct threat to law and order. He warned that any attempt to target BRS installations would be met with a strong response from the party.
