The Telangana Assembly is scheduled to convene from December 29, and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is likely to attend the session. According to sources, KCR conveyed his decision during a meeting with former ministers at his Erravelli farmhouse on Friday. During the interaction, he reportedly offered guidance on raising questions against the Congress government in the Assembly and indicated that he would personally participate in the proceedings. An official confirmation is, however, awaited.

KCR’s possible presence in the Assembly has generated enthusiasm within BRS ranks, as he has not questioned the government on the floor of the House since the Congress assumed power two years ago. Party leaders and workers believe that his participation in the upcoming session could intensify the opposition’s scrutiny of the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government.
