Hyderabad: The Congress Party achieved a resounding victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election 2025, with Naveen Yadav officially declared the winner by election authorities. Supporters of the party and the candidate celebrated the result, as Yadav defeated BRS candidate Maganti Sunita by a record margin of 24,771 votes—the highest ever in the constituency’s history.
Naveen Yadav secured a total of 98,945 votes, while Maganti Sunita finished second with 74,234 votes. BJP candidate Lankel Deepak Reddy garnered 17,041 votes and lost his deposit. Polling for the by-election was conducted on November 11, and counting concluded today across seven divisions in ten rounds. From the outset, Naveen Yadav maintained a clear lead, which widened with each round, despite strong competition from the BRS.
