Visakhapatnam: A mild earthquake struck Visakhapatnam in the early hours of Tuesday, causing brief panic among residents. Tremors were felt between 4:16 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. in several areas, including Gajuwaka, Madhurawada, Rushikonda, Bheemili, Kailasapuram, Maharani Peta, Visalakshinagar, and Akkayyapalem.
Residents rushed out of their homes as the tremors lasted for a few seconds. No damage or casualties have been reported so far. Officials are yet to confirm the intensity and epicenter of the earthquake.
