Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar has strongly condemned drunk driving in the wake of the Kurnool bus accident that claimed 20 lives. Reacting on social media platform X, Sajjanar described those who drive under the influence and cause fatalities as “terrorists” and “human bombs.”
He stated that the negligence of one individual had led to the deaths of 20 innocent people. “Those who drive drunk and claim innocent lives are nothing short of terrorists. Because of their recklessness, several families are now enduring immense mental agony. Who gave them the right to take others’ lives for their fun and enjoyment?” Sajjanar wrote.
Drunk drivers are terrorists. Period.
Drunk drivers are terrorists and their actions are nothing short of acts of terror on our roads. The horrific #Kurnool bus accident, which claimed the lives of 20 innocent people, was not an accident in the truest sense. It was a preventable… pic.twitter.com/oXTp0uOt2k

The Police Commissioner appealed to citizens to remain alert and report such offenders immediately. “Be cautious of such terrorists and human bombs moving among us. Inform Dial 100 or local police about their actions. If ignored, they may continue to endanger more lives on the roads,” he cautioned.
