Shocking details continue to emerge in connection with the Kurnool bus accident that claimed 19 lives. A video related to the biker responsible for the mishap has gone viral on social media, shedding new light on the sequence of events. The biker, identified as Shivashankar, was reportedly seen performing stunts on his bike at a petrol bunk around 20 minutes before the tragedy. Police suspect he was under the influence of alcohol. The collision between his bike and the Vee Kaaveri bus led to a massive fire that engulfed the vehicle. CCTV footage from the petrol bunk captured the visuals of Shivashankar’s reckless behavior prior to the incident.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accident occurred around 2:40 a.m., while the biker was spotted at the petrol bunk at 2:22 a.m. Police also suspect that the bus might have been driven by the cleaner instead of the official driver at the time of the crash. It has come to light that the driver, who studied only up to the fifth grade, had allegedly obtained his driving license using forged documents, raising serious concerns over the vehicle’s operation and safety compliance.

His mother Yashoda and relatives broke down in tears outside the Kurnool Government Hospital, with emotional visuals circulating widely on social media. Shivashankar, a resident of Prajanagar in Kurnool Mandal, worked in granite and painting jobs. Reports suggest he was returning home from Dhone when the fatal accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
