Hyderabad: BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has accused the Congress Party of fielding a rowdy-sheeter in the Jubilee Hills by-election, describing the move as a challenge to the people of Hyderabad. He urged voters to decisively defeat the Congress candidate, hailing from a family with a criminal background, to maintain law and order in the city. KCR expressed confidence that BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha would win the election and called on party leaders to mobilize support for a substantial victory.

During a review meeting with senior party leaders, KCR directed BRS cadres to actively engage with voters and expose what he described as the Congress government’s deceptive and exploitative governance. He criticized the state administration for betraying public trust and claimed that its policies had pushed Telangana into a precarious economic and developmental situation. Leaders were instructed to take the message directly to households, highlighting the decline in public welfare and halted developmental projects.
KCR also emphasized the achievements of the BRS government over the past ten years, highlighting developmental programs and welfare schemes implemented with a human-centric approach. He expressed concern that many of these initiatives have stalled under the current regime and urged party leaders to discuss these issues with the public, reinforcing the party’s commitment to social welfare and progressive governance.
