At least 35 others are undergoing treatment in various hospitals, with 12 reported to be in critical condition. Medical authorities have confirmed that several of the injured remain in intensive care units.

The explosion occurred while 108 workers were reportedly on-site. Among the deceased is the plant’s Vice President, L.N. Gowan, who was killed instantly when the blast ripped through the facility.
